About grnNRG Consulting Inc.
|
|
grnNRG Consulting (pronounced green energy!) applies a wide array of
skills to
create knowledge from diverse sources of information. The renewable energy
and sustainable development industries are interdisciplinary, with policy
makers, utilities, scientists, special interest groups and economists coming together
from across the globe in virtual teams. Each organization has its piece of the puzzle.
grnNRG Consulting brings the pieces together to create
knowledge that furthers the renewable energy and sustainable
development industries.

Who We Are
|
|
Jayson Antonoff - President
For 20 years, Jayson Antonoff has assisted government agencies, corporations and non-profits in
understanding and accessing information that is critical to their success.
His clients have included state governments, such as Washington,
Oregon and California, non-profits like the Land and Water Fund of the
Rockies and Northwest SEED, and corporations like Boeing, Microsoft and
Motorola.
After receiving his BS in Electrical
Engineering, Jayson began his career as a consulting engineer,
designing and managing projects to develop energy management systems, SCADA
systems, control systems for small hydro projects, and process
control systems for water and wastewater treatment
plants. He then went on to co-found Chase Bobko Inc.,
where he established the initial technical vision of the
organization, and consulted extensively with clients on their
information management needs. He was heavily involved in
modeling and analysis of both systems and business processes,
and is a self professed data junkie, with a strong orientation
toward helping people access and understand the information
they need to make smart business decisions.
Jayson is now living in northern Denmark,
which has the highest penetration of wind energy in the world.
He is currently researching the operational implications of
integrating high levels of intermittent resources into a
traditional utility infrastructure, and how this will be
impacted by restructuring of the electricity markets in both
the U.S. and the European Union.

Patricia Chase - Vice President of Strategic Development
After owning and managing an information management company for
14 years that grew to over 70 people, Patricia’s mantra for grnNRG
is “small is beautiful.” “In
looking back, I realized that I had the most fun when I was working with small teams of smart, dedicated
people. With grnNRG
Consulting we
have the opportunity to bring together or become a part of
project-oriented teams comprised of experts from across the country
and the globe.” As
the Vice President of Strategic Development, Patricia seeks out
projects in which grnNRG Consulting can be a significant contributor to
furthering the development of renewable energy and sustainable
development through the combination of
intellect, information and technology. |

Why We Are Doing This
|
| grnNRG
Consulting Inc. is our
second venture (and adventure) together. For 14 years, we and a third partner owned Chase Bobko Inc., a company that
specialized in providing clients with the custom software and
methodologies they needed to organize and access information
critical to their success. The company grew from
one employee to 70, and from annual revenues of $20,000 to
over $7 million. Although we were proud of what we
accomplished at Chase Bobko, Inc. we felt that our next company
should be oriented toward promoting global sustainability.
Both of us have traveled extensively in North America, Central
and South America, Asia and Africa. Wherever we have been,
in both developed and developing countries, we have seen the
need to implement sustainable solutions. We see contributing in a variety of
ways...sometimes as the lead company, sometimes as just
part of the team. Our main objective in any project is to
be a valuable contributor in maximizing the implementation of
renewable energy and sustainable development in the United States and throughout the world. |
